Spectrolite is a very rare form of labradorite and is mined in Finland. The spectacular iridescence known as the "schiller effect" is the play of light bouncing off the many layers of minerals within the stone. This particular spectrolite exhibits beautiful coloring and flash (color changes from a muted grey to brilliant flashes of blue-green when turning the stone to meet the light).

>> PLEASE NOTE: The flashes of green that spectrolite exhibits is NOT present at all times. The stone must be turned at a certain angle to see those colors. Otherwise, the stone is a muted, greenish-grey hue. (See 2nd and 3rd pictures.) <<

I've given the silver an antique look by oxidizing the surface and polishing off the high points. My wild rose hallmark is stamped on the outside of the band.

♡ Ring would best fit a US size 7-7.5

♡ Spectrolite measures 25mm in length and is 20.5 carats.
