Sorry, I can't describe this well enough. Words and photos are nonsense, You need to behold this Beauty in person to appreciate. The wood itself is a brilliant Jewel for your neck. The smoothness, the colour....

I did have to add a Porthole to the ship, (even though at the time I never thought it similar to a boat at all ~ just a little half circle) and the little Pearl bobbing about on the rolling seas. Even the chain is hung a bit different... after I attached it without Really thinking the idea out, I showed Connie my blunder, and asked if I should change it back to 'normal' attachment. She responded with laughter "It's Perfect! you added a little Guardrail to the tiny Ship!!! I wonder who else is on board, and where they are going, and what is stowed in the secret compartments, what's the weather like, is there an Albatross nearby, look at all the seagulls on the horizon (gasp) a whale spouting!!!" oh my.

well, I never saw That coming! Another example of beginning with a bit of wood, letting it take you where it wants, and Surprise! a whole little story could evolve from this! But that's Her department. I'll just continue to do what I do, and hope for the best!

Approximate Measurements~
3"(7.7cm) across
1.5"(3.9cm) high
5/8"(1.7cm) porthole diameter
1/4"(.8cm) thick
11"(28.5cm) chain hanging length from the closed lobster clasp down to the 'guardrail'.
All sanded nice and smooooooth, a few coats of protective varathane, When not in use, it is best to store in darkened area as UV rays may alter the colour over time; and That would be such a shame! Please keep away from high seas :^)

This Beauty shall be 'shipped' (haha) in a bubble wrap envelope via Canada Post; delivery time is 1-2 weeks within Canada and mainland United States, If you live in Elsewhere, please contact me with your country and post code and I shall get back to you with costs and estimated delivery time.

Thanks so much for your ongoing interest! It fuels the Creativity :)
