Burrowing owls are one of the most endangered birds in Canada. They're smaller than pigeons, nest underground, and hunt during the day and night. They prefer open areas such as grasslands, prairies and deserts.

I did the original of this drawing in pen, and I've altered it digitally to made it a sepia tone. It is printed using archival inks on cream-coloured Fabriano paper, a heavy-duty acid-free drawing and printmaking paper.

Please note the second image is a scan of the final piece, and the paper color looks darker than it actually is. The first image is a better representation.

Paper size is 5"X7". Signed and dated on the reverse. Packaged with care in a cello sleeve and rigid mailer to ensure your print gets to you safe and sound.
