CHARM ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Micro seed bead hippo charm made with the smallest size (15/0) Delica seed beads. This tiny charm is hand stitched by me, with Miyuki Delica beads in the brick stitch beading method. You will receive the charm shown in photo #1.

Each micro charm has a sterling silver closed jump ring attached to the top to make it easier to use in your own creative designs such as planner/cell phone/bag charm, stitch marker or progress keeper. You could also use it as earring or pendant jewelry components.

CHARM DETAILS:
♡ Beadwork is made with Miyuki Delica glass seed beads, size 15/0
♡ Approximate measurements (w x h cm): .8 x 1.1
♡ The closed jump ring is sterling silver, 2.15mm (1.25 inner diameter)
♡ Thread used is Fireline
♡ Hand stitched in the brick/peyote stitch method
♡ This is an original Bead Crumbs design based on a pattern that I created and hand stitched

PHOTO DESCRIPTION:
♡ Front view (front and back are the same) with size reference
♡ Sample idea of how these charms can be used. Shown on a ring. Not included with purchase.
♡ Sample of optional PDF pattern

ABOUT THE MATERIALS:
♡ Delica beads are professional quality, cylinder shaped, glass seed beads known for it's uniform cut and wide array of colors. My thread of choice is Fireline. Fireline is processed using micro Dyneema (R) which is a synthetic fiber that is extremely strong.

PLEASE NOTE:
♡ These charms are lightweight, flexible and quite durable; however, crushing force (like squashing it between your pliers when making jewelry) will crack the glass beads.
♡ The colors you see on your computer screen may not 100% accurately reflect the colors of the samples due to varying monitor settings.

OPTIONAL PATTERN:
♡ Printed 1 page PDF pattern for the hippopotamus can be included with your purchase. You will need to select the "Charm with Pattern" option from the menu.
♡ The pattern WILL NOT come with instructions. Experience with brick or peyote stitch beading is required. I prefer brick stitch.
♡ The bead colors in the pattern may not be the same colors as the charm you are receiving. I often make color variations in my designs - you can too :)
♡ The charms listed here are made with smaller Delica 15/0 beads. The pattern is for the more common Delica (DB) 11/0 beads. Feel free to substitute to the smaller bead size if you prefer (look for "DBS" beads).
♡ Please view last photo that shows a sample pattern. You will be receiving a printed pattern with similar information (suggested materials, bead chart & legend, computer photo of beadwork).
♡ You are not allowed to copy, distribute, modify, transmit, reproduce, republish my patterns. Please read my policy section for more information.
♡ When you purchase my pattern, you may sell the finished pieces you make. Please credit www.beadcrumbshawaii.com when promoting, publishing photos, selling products made from my designs.

Patterns DO NOT include instructions unless stated in the description.
Yes. You will need to know basic bead weaving stitches such as ladder stitch, peyote stitch and brick stitch. You will also need to know how to add thread (if your existing thread is too short), how to end your beadwork and how to add attachments or connector beads if making jewelry.

If needed, I will try my best to help you along by providing you with tips and video links. Please take time to view this youtube link if you are new to beadweaving, bit.ly/learnbrickstitch.
Definitely not! Use either Peyote or Brick Stitch to weave your design. Many of my patterns are created on a Peyote Stitch chart because it's my personal preference. However, when actually beading my piece, I turn my pattern sideways and stitch using the brick stitch technique.
You can start anywhere you want to. Some people have told me that they like to start from the center moving outwards while others like to start at the edge. I usually start at the widest/tallest point or on the row/column that I plan to attach a connector bead (so I can get that out of the way first).
It is a personal preference (as of Sept. 2015, new patterns will not show the finishing loop info). Instead of a loop, I like to stitch on a closed jump ring.
You may sell your finished beadwork made from my pattern as long as
1. You purchased the pattern from my shop or received it as a free pattern that has been shared by me
2. It is made by your own hands (no mass production, wholesale, etc.)
3. Do not imply or claim my original design as your own.
