About The Artist:
MC Romaguera Studio is home to artist Mary Catherine Romaguera Minvielle. A native of New Orleans, La., Mary Catherine’s local upbringing is visible in her youthful approach to painting. Her vibrant use of color and expressive subjects capture the distinctive Southern lifestyle. Mary Catherine’s preferred medium is acrylic on canvas and digital art.

Mary Catherine began painting at an early age; receiving watercolor lessons at age 4 from her grandmother and New Orleans artist, Lee P. Romaguera. Her oil painting lessons began at age 7. Mary Catherine received formal training in interior design, historic preservation, and architectural rendering from Savannah College of Art and Design and Louisiana State University.

When she is not being creative, Mary Catherine enjoys real estate, swimming, and playing with her dog: Julep! Mary Catherine is also a realtor with RE/MAX N. O. Properties in New Orleans.

Mary Catherine’s artwork is popular across the United States and Europe.
