Handmade Forged High Carbon Steel File Knife

This knife is made from recycled high carbon file steel, hardened and tempered, hand forged and one of a kind. I make each knife one at a time, start to finish, no two are alike. This knife was made from a Nicholson Bastard Mill File.
Handle material is Oak, from Pacific Northwest Coastal Mountain Range. Vertical grain structure.
Hidden tang design, hand forged brass finger guard. The full width of the ricasso is mortised halfway into finger guard for strength.
Hand filed and sanded profile. Hand wax finish
This is a handmade knife with handmade marks.
The blade is extremely sharp.
A perfect companion on a camping trip or a hike.

Great customer service and fast shipping. Well made friction folder with a great feel in the hand. Lightweight and easy to carry as the tail curl allows you to hang it at edge of your pants pocket. I really like the convex grind as it allows for easy sharpening.
