This very interesting plate shows the Forest of Dean Coal basin, the southern part of the Lancashire Coalfield, the North Staffordshire Coalfield and a section across part of the north of France Coalfield.

This fine example of printing is by J Bartholomew of Edinburgh and is in exceptional condition without rips, tears or markings. The reverse side of the paper is blank. Perfect to frame. The paper measures 8 x 10.5 inches.

Coalfields will be mailed to you in a non-bendable mailer, carefully housed in an acid-free archival sleeve.
