A beautiful soft and luxurious single ply 100% Superwash Merino Wool fingering weight yarn. This is our beautifully soft Singles Fingering yarn.
This listing is for three skeins of yarn. Yardage varies by base selection. See below for details. The Brioche Tiles Shawl will be included in this kit.
The Fade Kit "Nightingale" is a beautiful and vibrant collection of colorways. It consists of "Nightingale" which is a rich combination of deep blues and greens. "Dijon Mustard" is deep gold with brown and gold speckles. "Robin’s Egg" is a soft blue tonal with brown and gold speckles, and peeks of white. They are stunning together!
The yarn is hand dyed and made in batches of five skeins. If you order multiple skeins, the yarn will come from the same batch. No two skeins will be exactly alike, but are very similar. It is recommended to alternate skeins of hand dyed yarn in larger projects.

Rather than the superwash merino wool, I purchased this kit with the silky wool yarn. The yarn is wonderful. No knots, great feel. The nightingale colorway is very similar to the picture of the completed scarf, and is beautiful. The gold isn't quite as strong, but it looks great. The robins egg blue is not as pictured in the completed scarf - it really is robins egg blue and is quite a bit paler and lighter. I would have preferred a stronger blue to flow with the other colors in intensity. This is so much lighter that it doesn't fit with the other two colors in my mind. I would order from AChickThatKnitz again. Great turnaround and quality yarn and dying.

The color and quality of this yarn is phenomenal. I just found my new favorite yarn shop. Shipping was lightening speed even during a pandemic. I would give more stars if I could!!
