This is the best pound cake you will ever eat! Made from wholesome ingredients, your family will love this cake. Be prepared to take orders for those special occasions. I make these and mail them to my grandchildren for their birthdays. I put the cake on heavy paper plates and wrap them tightly in two layers of foil. I put them in a large priority mail box and pad around it with bubble wrap. They can hardly wait to get the box opened! The directions call to let the cake sit for 4 days. The aroma is so good, that I have actually cut the cake while it was still hot and it was yummy. Ageing only makes it better. This cake keeps several days and freezes well.
