This Needlepoint Badge is a personal heraldic display Item. This example shows the coat of arms of one individual, registered with the Society for Creative Anachronism. It is embroidered on 18 count canvas using fine cotton floss, to replicate the look of an elizabethan slip, like those worked by Mary Stewart, (aka Mary Queen of Scotts) It is washable, and intended to be sewn to a plain facbric field with many other badges to create a rich and highly decorated surface effect.

The badge is 3.5" x 4" , and has a custom Diaper pattern worked in one of the solid fields as a homage to the individual's home kingdom. Additional detail is over- embroidered on the needlepoint to increase the detail allowed by the size of the canvas. Other embelishments are possible including beads or raised stitches.

Your order will be designed and constructed based on our conversations, and a price will be determined based on the square inches included in the final project. The first piece shown costs approximatly $12 per 2 square inches or $75 for the badge. Other examples of the style are shown for your review, Complete acheivements are also available that would include mantleing and mottos and all the standard heraldic details.
