Perennial (herbaceous), can be annual in colder zones.
Zones 5a to 9b (Hardiness depends on your zone, but these will self seed also.)

* Seeds per package - 100 + (There's a bit of chaff in these, so the count is approximate)
* Bloom Time - Late summer
* Bloom Color - Yellow with black center or Reddish with black center
* Size - 18-36" tall X 18-24" wide
* Culture - Full sun, regular water.
* Characteristics - Charming 'quilled' petals look as if they are rolled up. Both yellow and red flowers on one plant.
* Special Features - This plant is deer resistant and is not picky where it grows! It makes a great cut flower and deadheading encourages more blooms.
* Germination - These plants are really easy to grow from seed! Sprinkle outside in the fall in the in the spring after threat of frost is gone. Germinates at 70°F in about 14 days.
