Okay, first off, I don’t sew, but if I did, I would want one cool lookin’ machine. This vintage Wizard sewing machine made in Japan has a very hip and sleek design with a beautiful turquoise color and it has that heavy duty "old school" quality. This machine is built like a tank.

Overall, this vintage sewing machine is in excellent condition. The metal body is in excellent and sturdy shape. The original turquoise paint is also excellent, showing only very minor wear. There is also a working light. The electrical cord is old and worn and will need replacing, but that’s an easy fix. The case, handle, and latches are sturdy and solid. The case covering is in fair condition, with wear that can be seen in the photos.

I know next to nothing about sewing machines, and this machine is sold as is, but I can honestly say this: the motor does work and the needle goes up and down. And as far as I can tell, it works very well. When plugged in, the light comes on, the foot pedal works, and the machine runs smoothly and quietly. I was told this machine is a very heavy duty machine capable of sewing canvas. There is a metal tag on the side of the machine that says made in Japan, and the motor is made in the USA.

The case measures 18” x 8 3/4” by 13” high. It weighs 36 1/2 lbs.
