This little nun is having fun outdoors, awaiting a ball to land in her mitt. We are listing her in the shop now since we are listing our other nuns and monks, mostly musicians. Even though this nun is more on the athletic side, rather than the musical side, when grouped with all the rest she looks as if she may be playing a tambourine. In fact, that’s what we initially thought when we acquired this fantastic little set!

She stands just over 5 inches tall and is about 3.25 inches wide at her widest point. She is in light gray and black, with rosy cheeks. Her nose has a slight chip as does her right forefinger, but neither of these detracts from the charm of this piece. Crazing throughout and some minor paint wear adds to her great vintage appeal. Marked 52/319 along with gold foil label that reads: Made in JAPAN; THAMES Handpainted.

She goes really well with the musical monks and other nuns that I am listing in the shop at the same time.

If you are interested in buying several, or the set, please convo me and I can offer a packaged deal.
