These metal studded hitch clip straps in black faux / imitation / vegan leather can create instant hitches and bustles in your skirts or other garments - ideal for steampunk, gothic and rock costumes. The hitch clip straps are easy to attach to your clothing with the metal clips. They can be worn in many ways to hitch up the front or side of a skirt, or at the back to make a bustle. Simply clip one end to the top of your skirt, or to the bottom edge of your top, then gather the fabric of the skirt and attach the other end lower down.

Steampunk your wardrobe, hitch your skirt so it doesn’t drag in the mud - these skirt hikes can be used in many other ways - use your imagination!

Ideas: use to hold the front edges of a cardigan together, or at the back of a waistcoat or jacket to cinch it in. Or how about hitching up the hem of a long tunic or T-shirt.

The clips are easy to open and close, and have plastic inserts so they don’t damage your clothing.

The straps are made from black imitation leather, which I have stitched to a black woven cotton herringbone tape to give them more sturdiness, before attaching the clips and adding the studs.

Total length (including the clips) is approximately 6.5” (16.5cm).
