These are two friends whose lives were undivided;
So let their memory be, now they have glided
Under their grave; let not their bones be parted,
For their two hearts in life were single-hearted.
-Percy Bysshe Shelley, 1822-

An old book, with the center torn out just so, forms a niche for a lovely old picture of two women. Sisters? Best friends? Wisps of cheesecloth, twice dyed - once in a pale pink and again in tea, spill out of the book. Some vintage string, also tea dyed, wraps tightly around the top and the bottom of the book to keep it closed. It is signed on the back and the stand is included.

Book measures 7-3/4" high by 5-1/2" wide and 1-1/4" thick.

Comes gift boxed.
