The amethyst I selected for this design, is a type of amethyst called “dogtooth amethyst” and is a mix of amethyst and white quartz. The patterning that is created by the two stones coming together is unique to each individual stone. Amethyst is said to help remove resistance to change (that’s something I could definitely use some help with!)

For this design I decided to showcase the dogtooth amethyst in my classic brass Eye design, but went a step further and added some brass “eyelashes” at the bottom. This is a powerful piece that is personally a current favorite of mine. All hand crafted. Finished off with nickel free brass chain.

All metals tarnish a bit over time. Storing in a jewelry box away form sunlight and dampness will help slow this process. Use the included polishing cloth to shine up your necklace over time!
