Everything from EMPOWERHAUS is made to order just for you, which means it isn't physically printed until after your order is placed and successfully processed. Because of this, orders from this shop take a *little bit* longer to arrive than ready-to-ship shops. (I promise it's worth the wait!!!)

TURNAROUND TIME: Orders typically arrive within 1.5 to 2 business weeks (a business week is M-F), but sometimes longer for international orders or during busy times.

This hoodie will quickly become your favorite sweatshirt, because it's soft, smooth and perfect for cooler evenings (or chemo treatments!) Spread cancer awareness in style and gift yourself or someone you love this awesome sweatshirt!

• PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MEASURE YO'SELF :) The size chart for each product is included in the photos. My tip is to measure your favorite shirt of that type (if you're buying a tank top, measure your fave tank) - you can buy a fabric ruler for $1 at any department store, use an app on your phone, old fashioned ruler - and measure armpit to armpit (aka: the width) My apologies, I cannot accept returns or exchanges due to size because of the made-to-order nature of these products and for hygiene reasons (most of my customers are/were cancer patients)

• Material: 50% cotton, 50% polyester
• Reduced pilling and soft air-jet spun yarn
• Double-lined hood with matching drawcord
• 1x1 athletic rib knit cuffs and waistband with spandex
• Double-needle stitching throughout
• Front pouch pocket

Hi! I'm Emily. I'm an artist and mama turned breast cancer survivor and patient advocate. In 2017, less than a month after my 31st birthday, I was diagnosed with stage III triple negative breast cancer. I spent the next year and a half in treatment, which consisted of 13 infusions of chemo, a double mastectomy without reconstruction, radiation, and more chemo. I currently have no evidence of disease (amen!) but now have permanent disabilities from the aggressive treatments.

After my diagnosis, I began to quickly notice how everything breast cancer related was washed in pink and glitter and had the same messages. Don't get me wrong, I love pink. LIKE, A LOT (ask my husband) BUTTTTTTTTT, all I *really* wanted was a funny, sassy breast cancer related shirt that WASN'T PINK, and I couldn't find it.

So, as an artist, I decided to create it. I began jotting down my ideas during chemo as a creative outlet to get me through the treatments. Then, when I looked in the mirror at my breastless chest for the first time after my double mastectomy, something empowering happened.... even though I knew my breasts were gone - and I was looking in the mirror to purposely look at my new chest - I didn't even notice for a few moments that my breasts were gone. That few seconds of not being phased by my appearance was so strong and empowering, that I signed up for Etsy later that night and started bringing my ideas to life.

In that moment the perfect name came to mind: Emily + Empower + Powerhouse = EMPOWERHAUS

+ TO HONOR: by creating designs that celebrate breast cancer survivors + thrivers + previvors + those no longer with us.

+ TO ADVOCATE: through powerful messages that encourage real, truthful conversations about the realities of a breast cancer diagnosis. (It's not pretty in pink)

+ TO EMPOWER: by creating funny, sassy, inspirational and motivational cancer awareness shirts that empower breast cancer survivors, thrivers and previvors to share their voice and live their truth.

Just because we have cancer or have lost our breasts does not mean that we've lost our sense of humor, beauty or self-worth. I don't shy away from the tough stuff. I've been told my shop is inappropriate... but what's inappropriate to me is turning a blind eye to the seriousness of this disease. It is through humor and sass that EMPOWERHAUS is making a difference. The shirts are black in white (not just in color) for a reason.

You can feel amazing when you purchase from this shop because in addition to supporting the recipient, you are also supporting me: a disabled cancer survivor who is trying her best to contribute to her family's financial needs through art and advocacy. I'm not a gigantic corporation :)

If you like what you see, PLEASE like, follow & share on social media. Thank you for your support!

All my love,

All items at EMPOWERHAUS are "made to order". This means that your item isn't printed until you place an order.

I (Emily Hopper/EMPOWERHAUS) create all the designs that are on the items in my shop out of my home in Wisconsin. My production buddies over at PRINTFUL (located in Cali) physically print my designs on the items & then ship the item to you :)

IT SHOULD ARRIVE AT YOUR DOOR WITHIN: 1.5 to 3 business weeks (a business week is M-F) on average, but sometimes longer for international orders (sometimes earlier!)
For USA customers: Usually between 1-2 business weeks (a business week is M-F) on average, but sometimes longer (sometimes earlier!)

For INTERNATIONAL customers: Usually between 2-3 business weeks (a business week is M-F) on average, but sometimes longer (sometimes earlier!)
Yes! BUT, I can only cancel your order while your order is in "waiting for fulfillment" status. Therefore, you must contact me within *6 hours* to cancel your order, no more than 12 hours.
No, my apologies. I do not accept returns for multiple reasons.

- Due to the "made to order" nature of items in the shop: these t-shirts are made just for you (they aren't printed until you purchase)

- Due to hygienic reasons.

PRETTY PLEASE ensure you read each listing in full to ensure the correct size/item is ordered, as I cannot accept returns or swapping for a different size. All of the information you need, including size charts are included in the listing.

However, if my printing company made a mistake (such as the wrong item was sent, or there was a manufacturer defect with it), I'm more than happy to replace it.

If you have any questions about the product, please message me first :)
We do not accept exchanges if a wrong size was ordered (please read each listing in full to ensure the correct size/item is ordered). If you have any questions about sizing or the product, please message me first :)

However, if Printful made a mistake, such as the wrong item was sent or there was a manufacturer defect with it, we will be happy to replace it.
Yes! Please message me with your story (type/stage) and will be happy to provide a discount

- T-shirts may me somewhat stiff from printing/press process
- T-shirts may have printing process/ink scent
- T-shirts may have ink remnants from the printing process

99% of the time, these issues are resolved by simply washing the shirt before wearing!

1. Machine-wash on cold, inside-out on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and like colors. ** Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary. You shouldn't use any fabric softeners, or dry-clean the items.

2. Hang dry works best, but if that cannot be achieved, tumble-dry on a low cycle.

3. When it comes to ironing, use cool iron inside-out. Do not iron the print.
