Swanky Modes are one of my favourite boutique brands who began in the Seventies but continued their unique brand of body-conscious fitted lycra pieces into the Eighties and early Nineties. This piece is probably mid-late 1980s, and is very reminiscent of other great designers like Alaia and Herve Leger - except I think Swanky Modes started the whole thing with their iconic Amorphous dress in 1977.

Hard to measure because of style and stretch but approx UK8-10
