This is an antique telephone from the 1800's made in Denmark. It has a long cord covered cloth material with an adapter at the end.It is not in working condition with several flaws such as the mouth piece that is in horn shape made of plastic? is missing, the rotary dial does not move freely, handset has chips on the paint. I am selling it as decoration piece, for parts and also can be used assembling art.
It is heavy, about 10Lbs.
Made mostly in brass and porcelain coat. Mark on the handset Kjobenhavns Telefon Aktieselskab.

Measures 7 1/2" X 6 1/2" X 3" at the base
9" tall
Handset is 10" long.

I found this information:

Public telephone service in Denmark was instituted by International Bell Telephone Company, which in 1881 opened a central office in Copenhagen. In 1882 the business was taken over by the Kjobenhavns Telefonselskab, which was the Copenhagen Telephone Company, and in 1894 by Copenhagen Telephone Company, Incorporated, (Kjobenhavns Telefon Aktieselskab or KTAS) under the laws of the Kingdom of Denmark. The company was owned in part by the Danish government and was the sole supplier of telephone service on the Danish islands of Zealand, w Copenhagen is located
