WOOD FINISHES
All our finishes are the best low VOC finishes made to protect the environment and provide us with a healthy work place. They are water resistant but not waterproof. Please inquire if you have an outdoor use in mind. All the cracks and axe marks are saturated with adhesive in a way that doesn't detract from their original character. I mix my own dyes to tint the wood sometimes using three colors on a single table. I am happy to custom mix a shade to work with your own furnishings, floors, woodwork etc... Please inquire if interested.

SHIPPING
Ships free of charge via FedEx anywhere in the continental US.

The legs will ship unattached. Quick assembly with a phillips screwdriver. Adjustable pipe feet will accommodate most floor unevenness.

HISTORY OF OUR WOOD
This lumber is trimmed from massive hand-hewn beams salvaged from old barns in Wisconsin and Iowa. Amish crews disassemble the barns and salvage as much as they can. The Amish then saw 2 1/2" off the edges of the beams and logs for us. We straighten, plane and sand them to about 1 3/4" thick. Most of these barns were in use for over 100 years before being obsolesced by modern farming practices. They saw farming change from horse power to diesel power. As the culture changed so too do the buildings that support it. This wood was cut from old growth trees in the 19th century by hand saw and ax then shaped by hand with adzes and muscles. I try to present as much of that old effort as I can in the top and edge surfaces of each table. The wood in these boards must be as old as this country. With a magnifying glass I have counted more than 140 growth rings on some of these pieces.

Console table tops come any length up to 7' long. These are cut right off the logs so the widths vary. Each piece will have a variation of an inch or more in depth. Happy to do Extra wide or Extra narrow, Use the Click the "Ask a Question" box above first for pricing and availability.
Yes but we should talk about it first. Stock is limited so convo your needs and I will investigate. I can make tables up to 8' 11"long but the shipping cost will be different so please include your zip code when emailing us. Click the "Ask a Question" box above to contact us.
Not really. I have a limited number of pieces on consignment at local galleries. I can't really do high volume production. I do work with designers at a trade discount, please convo.
Yes. As the tables get taller we increase the the structure under the table. We offer several different heavier leg options here:

Or, just convo your request and we can talk about it.
You bet. Message us through Etsy or call me at 608-606-2175, I am in the central time zone.
To simplify I have tried to include a standard charge of $76 for shipping and handling. Some items just don't conform to this simplification. Click the "Ask a Question" box above and I'll find out for you. I will need your zip or postal code and the size of the item you are inquiring about.
To be fair to my valued clients, I make these tables in the the order that they are purchased and can't accommodate rush orders. I sometimes have a few tables in stock and ready to ship. Message for availability.
