Colourful and playful! Vikings would do almost anything to get their hands on beads to adorn themselves with. Glass with inticate designs, semi precoius stone and metal beads were all fashionable, as were coins from near and far. They didn't use necklaces like this though, but tied strands of beads to "spreaders" and attached to their garment. Some belive this was a way to show status. Some believe that your chest was the safest place to keep your treasures.

I myself wear my treasures everyday, they are mostly green and red beads, very bright, kids somtimes ask if I have candy on my necklace!

Inspired by the voyagers a thousand years ago here is:

Necklace with replicas of green, yellow and blue/white glass beads found in Viking graves in Scandinavia. The bumby glass beads resemble eye beads of that time. Center bead is blackstone, faceted in a way that was common for carnelian and quartz crystal.

Sliding knots enables a perfect fit.

Max length 58 cm (23 inches)

I have quit separate shipping costs, this is included in the price for the piece, as is packaging. Jewelry will arrive gift wrapped for you to enjoy as a present to yourself or someone dear to you. All the best//MEJ
