In 1969, Neil Armstrong landed on the Sea of Tranquility on the moon, and hair pomade was never quite the same after. Now you know the secret to Neil Armstrong's slick hairdo.

It is doubtful that Armstrong (no, not that cycling dude) endorsed this product. The packaging, however, is highly collectible, and a similar one sold at an auction for $100.

This was the packaging for the hair pomade (cost: 10 cents). As seen on the packaging, the hair pomade was manufactured by H. H. Cosmetic Laboratory in San Juan, Rizal, the Philippines.

Printed on thin paper. It was never used but was in someone's collection. Some tiny tears on the edges have since been repaired with archival mending tissue. One corner not sharp. Otherwise, it is in very good vintage condition. The colours are very bright and the paper is clean and smooth.
