This beautiful bakelite, half-frame camera was manufactured by Whitehouse Products from 1947-1955. This one is in absolutely fabulous, near mint condition, and comes with its original little field case, which is also in excellent shape! The Beacon takes 127 film, which is still available for purchase from several online camera retailers. A "half-frame" camera is a lomography camera which shoots 2 images to 1 frame of film - it's super nifty! This camera has not been film-tested, but both shutter and winding knob work well!
