Sea Glass in the garden! Time to load up some new inventory listings! I have lots of sea glass necklaces to list so if you don't find one to suit you today come back often! All of the sea glass was picked up on the shores of Jacmel Bay, Haiti. My grandchildren and the orphaned children that my daughter and son in law are raising in Jacmel helped me to pick up the glass when I was in Haiti this Jan.
My long term goal is to work with the deaf in that community providing them with income on a regular basis.Until then I am donating 25% of all net proceeds to the ongoing work in Haiti. This work includes but is not limited to providing diapers for infants in tent cities who would otherwise go without and rebuilding homes and families. The big project Jacmel Bay is raising funds for right now it very exciting! In October I will travel with a group to Jacmel, Haiti to rebuild a house for a family who has lived in a tent for more than a year!
Necklaces are simple. Most are fastened with two simple slip knots allowing you to adjust it to your personal taste. Most have wired beads that allow for adjustment at the necklinc as well.
Follow Jacmel Bay at jacmelbay.blogspot.com
Soon my website will be up jacmelbay.com
and I have a Jacmel Bay page on facebook where you can see photos of Jacmel and the deaf students I am working with in Haiti.
All are guarenteed. Any problems and I will gladly fix it.
If you would like to donate to our project you can go to joyinhope.org and donate online.please note on donation that it is for the OBX October project.
