Recently found from my collection is this prewar 1931 Lionel 262 engine and matching 262T tender in very good condition. I'm also including an oak display track in the deal. These are one of the most sought after prewar engines by Lionel collectors because of the copper piping, red wheels, flag holders on the boiler plate and 2 different colored marker lights (one red and one green.) This is in nice condition other than a small piece missing off of the cowcatcher. This engine runs ok, but could use a cleaning. It runs forward and reverse with the reversing switch located in the cab. This set is sure to please a collector, or give it as a gift to someone just starting to collect trains. Remember, these are hard to find and " they just ain't making them no more." Please look at the pictures and decide for yourself. This set is going to cost a little more in shipping because of the size and weight of the display track, but it is worth it. Thanks for looking.

I've added an 807 caboose to this set as a bonus. I just found it and it goes with this engine and tender very nicely. The color is green and red with brass trim. There is minimal rust and paint loss and it works good. Enjoy!
