This is a great vintage Frank Clegg leather belt and cast cast pewter belt buckle by Indiana Metal Craft. It's nicely worn and has a great vintage patina.

Clegg is a Massachusetts based leather crafter whose hand made belts and leather goods are timeless and collectible. He is now a partner in Lotuff & Clegg, and their leather goods are sublime and simple all-American high craft. Their current line of belts starts at 185.00. The combo of this amazing vintage Clegg belt and buckle is kind of great.

The belt is is marked F. Clegg Designer Craftsman and has brass hardware. The buckle is cast pewter and marked Indiana Metal Craft, 1977, and style # EX55 on the back.

It's a long length (fits a 42" waist to 46" waist) but it can easily be shortened by any shoe repair shop.
The belt is 1" thick, perfect for a 2" jeans belt loop. the length of the belt is 49-1/4" not counting the belt buckle. The first pinch hole in the leather is at 40-1/2" from opposite end; the furthest punch hole is at 45-1/2" (there are a total of five holes). The belt is secured in a loop to hold onto the buckle with a brass screw, not a snap. It's a classic well-made belt.

It's in vintage condition with gorgeous patina and wear. Belt buckle has scratches and wear.
