Susan is an accomplished artist who was nominated to design an ornament for the White House Christmas Tree.
She is a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and studied fine arts in Florence, Italy. Her portrayals of the U.S. Capitol attracted purchases from U.S. Senators and Congressmen.
The National Cathedral and the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation granted Susan permission to illustrate their likeness, a rare privilege granted to artist. Susan’s work is also in the permanent collection of the Carnegie Museum of Pittsburgh.
Susan wrote and illustrated a series of 6 children’s books about her rescue dog Wilson. Considered a historian on the dogs of the White House, she worked with the White House Historical Association on the award winning book, “Wilson and the White House Pups”. www.wilsongetsadopted.com
