Vintage from the 1950s

Rare stunning mint in box texasware .... I am the editor of Melmac Central and I have been studying and researching melmac for years - this is one of those things I dont want to sell but a recent move has me out of display room. Texasware by Plastics Mfg Co was one of the most profitable chains that there was - molded out of melamine and melmac their Texas Ware and Dallas Texas they made a huge impact on the nation. This boxed display set is a rare find and I have not seen another . It measures 19” square and contains a complete 16 pc starter set in early colors with early backstamps. it has paper in it such as the guarantee and more information about go-with’s that the company is suggesting I believe this to be one of the earlier Texasware models based on the color and the backstamp this box was probably at the store display in one of the department stores and perhaps sold to the customer in this way it’s amazing that even the box is designed in a way that the plastic won’t break.... price is firm... I will actually wrap the dishes upon sending and probably this box will be considered oversize priced for rarity and the fact that I will ship to you in the United States for free as you can see Dishes look unused box is in shabby condition as shown but solid. When will you find another ? Not likely. A must for the melmac collector.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Follow me on Instagram, for promo codes @RetroChalet~~~~also on Twitter , Youtube and Facebook~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~OH YEAH
