Beautiful oboe pieces! Lifts my heart!

The reed has a great, clear tone and isn't unreasonably hard. I expect to order more in the future.

Hand crafted oboe reeds
5 out of 5 stars

If you saw a 1-star review earlier, it was a mistake (older user of newer technology). I've used Margaret Marco's reeds over the past several years with excellent success. They respond easily and have a wonderful, somewhat darker tone. They are the closest current handmade reeds to the style I learned in my much younger years and had studied with Elaine Douvas, until she left the Cleveland Institute of Music to take principal chair of the Atlanta Symphony. I am an "occasional" oboist -- played in many community orchestras from Cleveland to St. Louis to the metro Kansas City area since the early 1970s.
