This one-of-a-kind book is upcycled from a vintage 1930 edition of a classic early Nancy Drew mystery, "The Mystery at Lilac Inn". This was the fourth book published in the series written by Carolyn Keene. I have included the first and last chapters of the book, as well as a wonderful illustration depicting Nancy in dire straits, with the caption, "Thought you'd be smart, didn't you?" the girl sneered."

The blank paper consists of 70 sheets of recycled, acid-free, 24 lb. white paper, which is smooth enough to write upon easily, but with a bit of a tooth to it, which makes it great for sketching as well. It's all bound with a sturdy, wire coil binding that allows the book to lie flat. Measures approximately 5 1/4" x 7 1/2" (including wire binding). The book's covers show some wear, which is part of the nature and character you find with a previously loved, recycled book.

The perfect book for use as a travel journal or scrapbook, or to fill with brilliant ideas, doodles, recipes, secret thoughts, spontaneous sketches, clues...?

This would make a great gift for a Nancy Drew fan!
