For sale are ten (10) Upcycled Repurposed Triquetra Trinity Knot World Thinking Day Scout SWAP or Craft Kits.

These beautiful Trinity Knot SWAPs are made from upcycled repurposed beads. Every pin will be unique! Gift these SWAPs to fellow scouts, friends, family members, or church members.

Because these SWAP kits use some upcycled materials, they are great for teaching reuse as part of a "Being Green" message. They work for Earth Day, World Thinking Day or a multicultural event or badgework. The tags teach the history of the Trinity Knot and read as follows:

"The Triquetra or Trinity Knot is an ancient symbol used throughout history by many cultures and religions. For some, the three-corners represent land, sea, and sky - a reminder that all elements of nature are interdependent and equally valuable."

These kits are perfect for celebrating World Thinking Day, recognized annually on February 22. Sponsored by the World Association of Girl Guides and Scouts (WAGGGS), World Thinking Day celebrates the ten million guides and scouts from 146 countries around the world.

You will receive all the supplies necessary to create ten different Trinity Knot SWAPs. Each kit comes with a unique assortment of vintage and costume beads in green and white. Your scouts get to string the beads in any order they'd like. An adult (or older girl) will need to close the tops of the head pins with a loop using round-nose pliers. The head pins are pre-cut, so no trimming is necessary.

You may already have a pair of round-nose pliers and not even know it, so check your junk drawers! A small, regular pair of pliers may also work. Or, you can also purchase round-nose pliers from us! They are listed in the "Scout SWAPs and More" section of our shop. Here is the link:

All of our craft kits are individually packaged. JUST ADD ROUND-NOSE PLIERS!

Absolutely! We love taking your theme and bringing it to life! Just use the "Request a Custom Order" button on the shop homepage or any product page to let us know what you have in mind. You can also contact us directly.
We use a combination of home-made pieces and specially selected products to make our party favors, gifts, and craft kits one-of-a-kind.
I come from a family of crafters. I guess crafting is in my blood! I have also gained lots of new skills from my years of teaching, scouting, and parenting.
Yes! Just use the "Request a Custom Order" button on the shop homepage or any product page to let us know what you have in mind. You can also contact us directly.
What is the recommended age range for your craft kits?
Most of our kits are suitable for kids age 5 to 105. However, it is best to base your ordering on the skill and maturity level of your child or group of children. Some projects may be frustrating for little hands, and some may require additional adult helpers. Always keep small pieces away from children under 5 years of age to prevent accidental choking.
We don't include some supplies (like scissors and glue) with our craft kit orders because most people already have these supplies on hand. We don't want our customers to be forced to purchase supplies they already have. If there is something you need, please contact us. We'll see what we can do!

Because a number of our SWAP kits require round-nose pliers, we do currently sell these on our site. Just look in the "Scout SWAPs & More" section or search our site for "pliers."

We will continue to add special supplies as needed to make crafting as easy and fun as possible for our customers!
SWAPs are just crafts with a pin. The acronym, SWAP(s), stands for Something With A Pin or Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere. SWAPs are small, hand-made crafts that are traded between scouts.

The best SWAPs are scout-made and come with a personalized tags that identify the event, date, location and/or purpose of the SWAP. SWAPs should also include a safety pin or pin-back. Scouts pin SWAPs on hats or hand-crafted SWAP holders.
SWAPs aren’t just for trading, and they aren’t just for scouts. SWAPs make great party favors, classroom crafts, event giveaways, recognition awards, wearable pins, and decorative nametags. Adults also SWAP within art and craft groups, via pen pal swapping sites, and as part of letterboxing and geocaching. In short, anyone can SWAP!
Sure! Just send us a custom order request, and we'll create a custom order for the exact number of kits you wish to purchase.
