Up for grabs is one unique draft excluder. Combining my love for beautiful fabrics with my deep affection for lolcat humor.
My love of the paranormal was also an influence in this project. One of my favorite monsters is the tatzelwurm. A sort of snake with the head and sometimes front feet of a cat. The prints used are a mix of Kaffee Fasset, Martha Negley and Janet Sassaman quilting cottons.
The face is done with slick fabric paint and drawn by hand. I've done a couple of these with different faces and fabrics [separate listings.]
I've also embellished it with my usual Franken Stein stitches.
The length is about 36 inches [three feet] and will fit most doors. The height is 3.5 inches at the ears. [These are usually used to block air from coming under doors, but there's no reason it can't just be used as an unusual toy or decoration.]
The stuffing is poly fill so this is a washable item, but spot clean or hand-wash would be the easiest on the painted part.
Shipping will be in a cardboard poster tube so as not to bunch up the stuffing.
This is coming from a non-smoking, but cat-friendly home.
Thanks for looking and please check out all the other peculiar creatures I offer from my PatchworkLaboratory.
