Smart 70s top drawer, novelty tweed skirt made in Great Britain by Jaeger. A complex textured geometric weave where the vertical stripes are more pronounced. The earth tone colours range from light to dark brown with wheat, beige and pale peach as well as black (or perhaps a very black brown). It is a modest A-line with two belt tabs in front in the same fabric. These are sewn in place with two pewter like metal buttons. It also has two thread belt loops on either side at back. The skirt closes with a well hidden off side back zipper in nylon with a metal "L" pull topped with two sets of metal hooks and eyes. It is fully lined in a beige synthetic satin. Two small red Xs on the waistband denote centre front. Very special nine to five skirt!

Modeled on a US size 3/4 dress form at it was a good fit.
