Gemstone: Quartz

Treat yourself or someone you love to this breathtaking Rose Quartz ring in copper. This ring is designed for women who embrace life with confidence. Whether you wear as a cocktail ring or everyday ring, you will find that although bold and beautiful, this ring is extremely comfortable with its wide band and mindfully selected crystals. A lot of care and attention is put into every single piece, including each gemstone being carefully broken down by hand into perfectly shaped crystals for these rings. The warm copper tones and the shimmering crystals are an appealing combination that any woman would be delighted to wear.

Choose your size from the drop-down menu when you go to order. If you don't see your size, please contact me for a custom order. Each ring will be entirely unique. Each gemstone carries natural beauty that can't be replicated from stone to stone.

The ring band measures approximately 5mm (0.25") wide. The crystals range in size from approximately 15mm (0.5") - 25mm (1"). Smaller ring sizes will feature smaller crystals and larger ring sizes will feature larger crystals ~ unless requested otherwise in a custom order.

This ring is lead-free and nickel-free.

Each ring is mailed in a natural, cardboard box with Nicole Crystal Designs' logo & care instructions.

A gorgeous chunk of raw Rose Quartz is fastened to the copper ring band and then put through electricity so copper naturally forms around the entire design and hugs the stone. This process takes many hours & careful supervision. Once, the ring reaches perfection, it is oxidized and polished to bring out the texture. Lastly, the ring is clearcoated.

Electroforming is a dedicated process by which copper metal from one piece of copper is transferred through electric current to the jewelry resulting in unique, naturally organic creations. Each piece is clear coated for a final touch (unless you request "uncoated"). Simply put ~ each one is made with lots & lots of love.

Don't let sensitive ears discourage you from copper earrings. Personally, I have sensitive ears so I understand your concerns.

Most earring listings have an option where you can choose between copper ear wires or copper colored, niobium ear wires. Niobium is a safe metal for sensitive ears.

If the earring listing doesn't have that option, please feel free to message me so I can accommodate you!
All copper designs are clear coated. This provides a barrier between your skin and the copper so your skin will not react and turn a greenish color (a natural occurrence for some people based on their body's pH level). The coating also delays tarnish.

See Care Instructions for what to do when the coating wears off. How soon it will wear off depends on your body's pH and how often your jewelry comes into contact with water.
As with most jewelry, take your jewelry off before showering, swimming, or sleeping.

For longest lasting shine, store your copper pieces in a plastic bag when you aren't wearing them.

When your copper begins to tarnish, use a polishing cloth or steel wool to bring back the shine.

If you desire, after polishing the copper, you can apply a jewelers wax or clear nail polish to the part of the copper that touches your skin. This will delay the tarnishing process.

WARNING: For necklaces and bracelets with black words on them, do not apply nail polish over or near the black letters for two reasons: 1). the black letters do not (or generally do not) touch your skin; 2). the nail polish may cause the black lettering to bleed.

If needed, clean with warm soapy water & a clean cloth. Avoid jewelry cleaners (including cloths) & antibacterial soaps as the harsh chemicals may harm the finish on the jewelry. Store like items together (don't mix silver & gold/rose gold as the different metals may cause each other to tarnish or fade colors).
Absolutely! First of all, I don't recommend taking your ring made by me to a local jeweler as it is possible they will mess it up to a point that I may not be able to fix it. If you purchase a copper piece, whether custom or non-custom, and you decide you would like a change or just a different metal finish of silver, rose gold, or 14k gold, please contact me. There will be an additional, but affordable, fee and all you will have to do is send the ring back to me, and I'll take care of the rest for you. Reasons you may want to consider this option are if you find that copper turns your skin green and that is bothersome to you or if you simply would like a change. Opal & Turquoise jewelry currently aren't eligible for having a metal change.
