James Armistead Lafayette was an enslaved African American and national hero, who served the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War under the Marquis de Lafayette. As a double agent (spy), he was responsible for reporting the activities of Benedict Arnold – after he had defected to the British – and Lord Cornwallis during the run-up to the Battle of Yorktown. James Armistead fed them false information while disclosing very accurate and detailed accounts to his fellow Americans.

Designed to fit American Girl "boy" dolls and all other 18" dolls like My Life, Our Generation or similar dolls.
