Musical Abstraction... painting the way it feels to 'play' the instruments. As an artist and musician, I attempt to capture the essence and energy of the instrument I'm trying to depict, and transfer that feeling of musicality to the canvas. I have been creating musical abstraction since 2003.

"Folding into Eachother" is an original acrylic 30x48 piece of fine art musical abstraction on stretched canvas and framed with a 117 Nielsen metal frame. Finished size is approx. 32x50.

A jazzy energetic eclectic mix of instrumentation fill this large abstract musical creation. A large multicolored keyboard roams casually thru the center of the piece, with a beautifully rendered saxaphone on the right. Classical and electric guitars are highlights on the left and the upper left depicts a complete drum kit. There is a shimmering vibrancy that radiates from this piece which I attribute in part to the mixture of color, form, style and substance.

The perfect large sized piece for that space you have over your sofa in the living or family room. Music room's will radiate a new sense of motion, energy and color with this one of a kind original acrylic painting.

This "fine art" original artwork represents a mix of classical/jazz and blues musicality into a contemporary acrylic painting with overtones of abstract expressionism. For added protection, the artwork has several coats of varnish to seal the surface but this original acrylic painting should NOT be hung in direct sunlight as fading will occur over time. Minimal sunlight exposure is totally acceptable.

All materials used in the framing process are archival products commonly used in conservation framing. All hanging materials necessary to mount on most wall surfaces are included.

This item will ship to you via FedEx at no charge. A custom crate/shipping container will be built for this item at no extra charge.
