Made for the Man Who Will Have the Best.

This classic tin advertising The John Bull Repair Outfit for bicycle tires dates to the early 20th century.

The John Bull Rubber Co. manufactured tires and these handy little kits got many a cyclist back on the road. The kit itself is long gone, but the instructions for its use are printed on the inside lid. Great logo and graphics: Mr. Bull is proudly sporting a Union Jack waistcoat. There is a bit of wear and a small amout of rust, but the colours are still nice and bright. It measures just 4.5 inches by 1.25 inches and is .75 inches deep.

A nice little piece of English cycling history!
