A lovely etsian has pointed out to me that this dress is most likely a woven Guatemalan huipil textile. Rare sixties tribal emroidered day dress. My jaw dropped to the floor when I found this dress. It is so a-typical of the style of the era and so fashion forward and editorial. It is even more stunning in person and in mint condition!

The construction on this garment is incredible. It is very well made.
