this is an actual vintage dress from the 50s or 60s. it may have been home sewn? i'm not sure. the fabric is a textured brocade floral. it is a heavier weight. the inside lining is sewn in and is a heavy weight, stiff fabric too (i forget the correct terminology for this fabric backing?).....the train attaches with hooks and eyes under the back collar...this dress zips up the back with a metal zipper

SIZE: no size tag but i think it is going to fit a Misses size SMALL to MEDIUM or 6 best.....HOWEVER, Please go by actual measurements of the garment which are taken while hanging. (for reference: my mannequin is a size 2 and this was a bit big on her)

RETURNS: the size numbers that i give are just an estimate and not an exact science. its best to use the measurements and measure against something similar you may have in your closet, that you know fits you well.... i can't accept returns for items not fitting, as i do go out of my way to provide a ton of measurements. if you need an extra measurement? please message me before buying. it is easier for me (and you) to re-measure something, than it is to go through the return process. :) thank you!

MEASUREMENTS

~Chest (from armpit to armpit) - 18" across {36" around}
~Waist - 13 1/2"" across {27" around}
~Hips - 19" across {38" around}
~Shoulders ( across the back) - 15 1/2"
~Sleeves (from shoulder to cuff) - 21 1/2"
~Bodice Length (from shoulder to waist) - approx 14 1/2"
~Total Length (from Shoulder to Hem) - 54"
~Train - 63" long (it starts from 8" below the shoulders) - and it is about 71" across the widest part of the bottom

CONDITION: Currently this dress is AS-IS shown in the photos. no holes or rips....but there are some water spots and faint stains near the hem of the dress. the whole dress in general, has slightly yellowed and is a bit darker than the train. the train also has some faint staining on the bottom....the hems on both pieces have that plasticy kind of hem tape (i don't know the correct term for this either - ha) but it makes the hem hang kind of wonky, so you may want to either remove it or sew it down ... it would be good for a stage production or play. it is clean. i have washed, line dried and pressed it. sooo you can buy this AS IT IS for the price shown.....

ORRRRRRR you can let me ZOMBIFY it for you with tatters, rips, holes, stains, grunge, and blood; and make it into an awesome zombie ghost bride costume!

No, unfortunately my sewing abilities are not good, and I can not sew you a costume from scratch. There are a lot of talented sewers here on etsy though, so if you keep looking you will find a designer that can sew you up exactly what you need!...

I take already made costumes and clothing, and "zombify" them!
there could be up to a 20% re-stocking fee for items that are returned because of size issues...i do go out of my way to provide a ton of measurements on each wearable item. so please, compare measurements with something you already own, and if you need extra measurements before purchasing? please ask!...its easier for me to pull an item and re-measure it for you than to go through the return process. (and its cheaper for you! :)
