Vintage from the 1960s

this cute little metal ruler came from Baltimore Maryland and was made in the USA it is approximately 6 inches long and was given away at a local meeting which was called the union industry show in Baltimore Maryland to all the sheet metal workers unions this particular one was given to the workers of union number 122 - this particular unit dating back to the 1900s .....back in the day Baltimore was a huge hub for metalwork Bethlehem Steel was one of our biggest employers at the time all of that now of course is changed as has learning trades thanks to
automation...Back in the 60s the sheet metal workers will be responsible for anything to do with metal even blacksmith trades bending metal etc. Now some jobs are defunct - things like
this have gone by the wayside this is a neat little promotional ruler to use or sit on your desk as decor
