Rotogravure PATTERN

ro - to - gra - vure
noun. (roh-tuh-gruh-vyoor)
1. a photomechanical process by which pictures and typeset matter are printed from an intaglio copper
2. a section of a newspaper or magazine consisting of pages printed by the rotogravure process.
Part of the lyrics from Irving Berlin’s Easter Parade are: “you’ll fid that you’re in the Rotogravure.”
I assumed that this was the name of a famous magazine back in the day. Whatever it means, it seemed to
fit this quilt! AND, I LIKE THE WORD!
I love this quilt! I used hand-dyed Cherrywood fabrics for the little blocks within the pumpkin blocks. I
used fabrics that reminded me of autumn for the pumpkins. The sashing is pure Halloween - cheddar and
black. Put it all together and it's fall personified.

You'll have so much fun making this Halloween/Fall heirloom for your own haunted mansion.
The finished quilt measures 60" x 76".
