The pattern featured on this Kimono Shrug is gorgeous, the fabric came from a bolt of Kimono fabric. Kimonos are made from one long piece of fabric approximately 92cm wide and 13 metres long known as a 'bolt'.

This fabric came from a high quality pure silk bolt and is called Forest of Trees, it’s in fabulous shades of green and cream. The fabric was produced in the early 1970s but never used until now where it has been transformed into this lovely kimono Shrug.

Many Japanese view forests as the continuity of life. Trees are seen as gifts from the ancestors.

It is very flattering and versatile – great for covering up arms which are less than toned and looks equally great with jeans, or can be dressed up for evening wear as shown with my Cate Backless Evening dress or High-Waisted Pencil Skirt.

This kimono shrug is a limited edition of two, and you have the knowledge of knowing that you own an exclusive hand-made garment of your very own for you to treasure.

This Kimono Shrug is one size and fits sizes 8 – 14.

Size: One size fits 8 – 14 (Bust 84cm – Bust 94cm, Waist 64cm - 76cm, Hips 90cm – 102cm)

Washing instructions: Dry-clean only

Material: 100 per cent vintage silk
