China Rose Radish Organic Sprout Seeds - 4 oz.

This 4 oz. package (3"x5" polyzip bag) contains China Rosa Radish certified organic sprouting seeds. These seeds are for growing your own healthy and yummy sprouts or microgreens. Growing your own sprouts is very easy and rewarding. Without dirt or sunlight, you can have a fresh and continuous supply of nutritious sprouts at your fingertips. Start growing your own with a 32 oz. wide mouth mason jar, a rubberband, and a piece of tulle or cheesecloth. This 4 oz. package of dry seeds will yield approximately 1 lb, 8 oz. of sprouts. Use 1 TB of seed per jar to produce approximately 3-4 oz. of sprouts in one week. This is the equivalent to one of the plastic boxes of sprouts you would typically find in your grocery store, except these are fresher!

One of my regular sprout customers at the Seaside Farmers Market told me that my radish sprouts bite back. I would say that's about accurate. These are my favorite sprout when I want a little zing! These are much milder than the Hotter'n Hot, though they do tickle your nose when eating, just like a radish. I eat them on top of my scrambled eggs. Now that spring is here, I'll eat more sunflower shoot salads and these are a perfect compliment. This is the same seed I grow into microgreens - a bigger version of a sprout - and sell to the local restaurants. The photos are of the radishes grown as microgreens on a sterile mat. Sprouts look about the same except a little smaller and squiggly.

You can also grow these into radishes. If you prefer, just pop a few seeds in your kitchen garden and sprout the rest.

Full instructions included with each package of seed.

I grow and sell fresh sprouts at my local farmers market every weekend. For this reason, all my sprout seed is continuously rotated and personally tested by me throughout the year. I only sell non-agricultural seed for sprouting, meaning that it is specifically grown for human consumption and not cross contaminated with seed that is for planting in soil. For obvious reasons, I only sell seed that has excellent germination rates and that I feel confident about sprouting and eating myself. Buy with confidence!
