Here at Lumber And Letters we only use 100% solid wood. As with anything made in nature, no two pieces are the same resulting in a unique wood grain for each and every product. We consider our style to be rustic farmhouse therefore we embrace knots, cracks and other natural imperfections that occur in wood. If you do not want your piece rustic, please convo us before any purchase is made to discuss modifications. All designs are painted by hand so there can be slight differences. Rest assured knowing we take tremendous pride in our work and only produce woodwork we would be proud to display in our own home! Please note all measurements are approximate and could vary +/-1 inch especially with items made from reclaimed wood.

Yes, we proudly hand wrap every order and complete with a hand made tag.

We are happy to include a note to your recipient at no extra charge, simply check the order is a gift and leave your message in the GIFT MESSAGE section and we will include your message on the tag.

Be sure to enter the correct address at checkout if you are sending as a gift as addresses cannot be edited once the order is placed.

We ship most orders via USPS priority mail or FedEx home (for larger signs and pieces) which includes tracking and insurance to cover damaged or lost packages up to $100.

In the event your item is damaged, contact us within 24 hours with photos & so we can file a claim & send you a replacement asap.

We are not responsible for return shipping cost or re-shipping cost or any other shipping cost at any time. In the even you are approved for a refund, our refunds will not include the cost of shipping, only the cost of the item.

Did you know can request that your package requires a signature if you are worried about theft? Easy peasy, just ask us for a custom listing. We are not responsible for stolen packages, please choose a safe address.

We have many photos of the different colors we can send to you to help make your final selections a breeze, just ask!

Every order we do is made to order just for you so in general we do not accept returns, however we want you to be happy with your purchase so please reach out to us if you're not thrilled with your order!

In short, we do not accept cancellations however, if the cancellation is requested in the 24 hours of ordering we do our best to accommodate.
