This is a three pound (over) chunk of emerald matrix material, with over a hundred separate emeralds in it, with so many of them being of outstanding gem quality. You will not find another specimen like this, anywhere at any price from the Old Crabtree Emerald Mine, in North Carolina. Because it is now not in production, this specimen is a great investment, and will ONLY go up in value. The deep green of these emeralds is the finest green you will find from any location in the world, bar none. This is a large cabinet sized specimen, with an estimated 1000-1600 ct. of emerald in it, because there are so many places within the internal matrix that also hide emeralds, so it's not possible to weigh how much there actually is, but there are definitely many more hiding underneath the clear quartz that you can see! This is a beauty, a one of kind find that will not be repeated. I mined it myself, and so can absolutely verify the location (which increases its value, I didn't buy this from somewhere, I went to the mine and dug it up) I have many more pictures of this as well, and the ones I provided do NOT do it justice for color and sheer eye pop when viewed in person. Some of the emerald chunks are over an inch by an inch, and the whole specimen measures 6x4 inches, so it's a big one! This is ridiculously low priced at $30/ct. because I am selling my entire emerald collection and retiring. Cut stones from this piece could outprice what I am offering it for! Most of what you see in the pictures as "black" covering is actually green emerald which does not show up in the photo. Good luck bidding!
