Item details

Vintage from the 1970s

Beautiful boots by Charles Jourdan from the mid-late Seventies, showing the transition from the more fitted boots of the early Seventies to the super slouchy boots of the Eighties. These have the very typical Seventies toe shape and stacked heel, but the body of the boot is a relatively unstructured canvas which means you can smoosh them down your calves a bit (indeed there are no zips so their softness also helps you get them on). I bought these for myself as they were marked as a Euro 40 but I think they're coming up pretty small, so I'd say they were more like a 39/UK6.

Measurements

Marked as a Euro 40 but they're coming up pretty small, so I'd say they were more like a 39/UK6.

Length of insole (hard to measure because of getting the measuring tape inside the boots) approx 10.25" - Insole Width 3" - Heel height 3.5"

Please note that there are no zips or fastenings so your calves need to be fairly slim to get them on (the upper band of leather is fairly stiff, although the canvas is quite flexible) - I would say no bigger than 14.5" around the fullest part of your calf.

Fabric
Leather and canvas with what feels like a wooden heel.

Flaws
Some minor marks as shown but really nice, wearable condition. Sold as vintage.
