A 1930s Art Deco engagement ring with over a dozen old cut diamonds set in 14K white gold. The ring is neatly formed, with a streamlined, linear design that hugs the finger. The .45 carat Old European Cut diamond center is set in a square head with scrap-book style corner prongs. It is flanked by single cut diamonds in penant-shaped recesses and trimmed on the upper and lower edges with rows of tiny single cuts in hand-engraved lines. Four further diamonds form tapered duos at both sides. Milgrain detail throughout. Plain shank. A stunning Art Deco ring with a practical low profile and compact, dazzling sparkle.
