I have found that these crocheted lace stones are so much fun to create and each one takes on a look and personality of its own. It has now become an obsession with me to create these and I find myself secretly looking at stones everywhere that have "Lace Stone" potential. :)

This listing is for one nicely round Lace Stone in beige (ecru). This stone measures approx: 2 1/2 inches x 2 1/2 inches and is about 3/4 of an inch thick. This stone is very smooth, flat and nicely round.

This stone looks completely different on the bottom. I also have a photo of the other side. The color of the stone itself is grayish black.

This stone has a variety of stitches, made with fine crochet thread and a tiny hook. I've used a vintage pattern to create this look. This lace stone has an old fashioned roll stitch which gives it a very unique look. This roll stitch involves wrapping the thread around the needle 10 times for each stitch, it's a pain-staking process with a tiny needle. There are 147 roll stitches in this piece. Even though this stone is somewhat smaller than other stones in my shop, this one is more time consuming, therefore the price is a bit more.

This lace stone is similar to the sage green lace stone in my shop, but this one is made with a smaller gauge thread. The sage green lace stone: http://www.etsy.com/listing/79820027/crocheted-lace-stone-sage-green-lace-on

These stones would be great as pretty decorations in your home. They also make awesome, unique, handmade gifts. They look great lined up on a table or stacked on top of each other. This one could also be used for a paperweight.
