Here's a fun find--a small Girl Scouts of America tote bag from the 1950s. Inside we found a Girl Scouts membership card from 1954 and two loose embroidered merit badges (it looks like they are for campfire cooking and art/painting), The tote is made of green cotton poplin type material, measures 12" long by 10" in diameter and has the Girl Scout of America logo printed in yellow. It has two 1" wide - 5" long handles that are sewn it and closes with a draw string. Inside the bag there is a 6" wide X 5" tall pouch with snap closure.

CONDITION:
This bag is in very good, used, vintage condition with no rips, holes or structural damage. It has a few small marks and some spots light soiling to the exterior but in overall good shape considering its age.
