This is my interpretation of a Dream Walker; they are found in Native American folklore and are very similar to a Dream Catcher. But a Dream Walker moves through a dream to guard against bad dreams.

The sculpture is about 13" tall and hand built and adorned with a feather and turquoise buttons. The Feather is used to brush away the bad dream. The turquoise is said to be the stone of wisdom and spiritual journeys.

The top stamp on the lower hem is the Chinese word for harmony, and the bottom stamp is my first name in chinese.

Dream Walkers represent Shamans or Medicine Men, and can be male or female. They are found in African, Australian, Siberian, Malayan, Polynesian, Tibetan, and Chinese cultures; they also appear prominantly in North and South America in both the Indian and Eskimo cultures.
